Why can't I find a clean 2g AWD?

I've been searching and searching and I cannot, for the life of me, find a nice 2g AWD. What happened to all of them? I see you guys post beautiful 2g AWDs all the time, one of you gentlemen put yours up for sell!

I've searched Craigslist and found nothing but junk, AutoTrader with the same luck and even Cars.com. I found one AWD Talon but it's too modded.

Someone trade me their clean AWD for my 92 Laser RS with 30K plus cash on my end!

Rare. Or owned by people who don't want to give it up... Just say it's in the same boat as a 4 gen supra.
You'll find a gsx... but either riced or way to modified.
My old story. I spent 10 years looking for a stock 2gb gsx... so i settle for a stock low mileage gst instead .

I feel your pain. Im seriously debating converting my spyder to AWD. There is so much information here on tuners about the swap that they make it seem easy. I think I just decided to go for it. Its off to the classifieds...

How much does it cost to convert a 2g to AWD, I know you cannot convert 1gs or I'd be all over it.

I've been dying for a Laser AWD for about 3 years now. I haven't been able to find one, period. The ones that I HAVE found have been sold by the time I get to them. It's sad.

However - I've been looking for another 2G for the past few weeks and you're absolutely right - there's nothing right now. I've searched as far as PA.

Lucky dog. ive got one of the only couple hundred lasers ever made to be AWD with no turbo. only has 111k tho

i thought would be something that wouls show up when i smog it... ive been looking for a 2g gsx my self, simply because i want to avoid the awd swap and i hate all the road noise from the convertable.... BTW is and awd swap the same process in a spyder as in a gst? or is it more complicated?

It's the same, as the chassis is damn near identical, just without a stationary top.
