These are my my manuals from my '90 GSR-4, and in particular I've always been curious of what they were saying, epecially where maintainance has been written down. If anyone can translate it for me, I'd be very grateful!

p.s. Pictures of the covers are here, site won't let me have them posted in two different threads.

Sure can, but some of the print is pretty small. So If you want me to translate more specifically everything that was checked please send larger scans to my e-mail. [email protected]

But here is the basics.

The list is a checklist of the points checked by the shop that handled your car.
The shop is:
Car Service Okada from Ota City in Gunma Prefecture

Your cars original Japanese license plate was:
Gunma 53
Ta 3077

It has the name of the person who bought it as new. He picked up the car November 30, 1990

Your 3rd sheet (picture) with the belts, hand brake and pedal brake pictured was from May of 1991, ensuring that all fluids, belts were within proper tolerance. This checked was madated or instructed to be conducted by the 1st month or 1000km mark of ownership.

Your 4th sheet was a checked performed November 25, 1997 @ the 54765 km mark. The form also indicates that it is a 24month interval checklist. Everything checks to be within spec. No service or maintenance noted to be needed

Your 5th sheet was checked November 1, 1999 @ the 60937 Km mark. Form also indicates it is a 24 month interval checklist. Service noted and performed:
1.Brake oil changed, bled
2.Clutch oil changed, bled
3.Transmission oil changed
4. Differential oil changed
5. wiperblade rubbers replaced

Then circled off to the right is a note about your radio. The writing is small so cant make out what the issue was.

But like I said send me some quality photos or scans and will translate whatever you like.

Later,
Jose

Awesome, thanks so much. I'll start scanning some more soon.

Really neat to see the service from November of '99 at 60k kms. When I bought the car as the second owner in Canada in Aug. 2010 it only had 73k kms. Car now is just under 90k kms.
