I bought the car brand new off the lot. I swapped it to awd in 99 and it had been sitting apart since 2001.

Any last week I bought 2 parts car to get it back on the road
95 talon tsi fwd auto. It was a rusted out pile of crap and had a rod through the block. This is what I took out of it for my self. A/C,Power steering,alt,e-prom ecu, rear bumper, side skirts with door caps, tails.

thanks guys. the car has sat in the garage most of its life. It still has 48k on it. so there is no rust on it. the car was shipped here from vegas since that was the color I wanted and would not take the black one they had at mitsu. I just have to under coat it still since it was never done to it. The car also had never been driven in the winter.

Right now I still need black seat belts, black leather rear seat, grey home link visors, grey pass piller and center piller, black door panels

the car's that are here right now
95 evo 3 in the garage
98 awd spyder the one I am rebuilding now
87 feiro it has a 383 sb in it
01 mirage sedan wifes d.d.
89 orignal turbo mirage hatch my d.d.
95 talon tsi (going to scrap)
97 awd spyder (getting parted and scraped)
Also have a 51 mercury m-1 truck with a sbc 400 in storage for the winter now

Glad to see you're back at it a bit Mark, I haven't seen this thing in yeeeeeeeeaarrsss... Time to get it back on the road ;)

I was going to buy the 2Gb Talon bumper you jerk. :p

Seriously though, I'm glad to see you're putting it back together. I saw it for sale on cl and on here and hoped someone would do it justice. And it looks like you are going to end up doing it justice yourself. I have seen your skills on that evo 3 swap. So it is in good hands.

the 95 talon parts car ready to go to scrap. It was a rusty pile of crap.

also took out all the abs wiring out of the engine bay harness and put it back in the car. Also did a mini tuck with it. I used the 3 holes that were in the frame rail and make 3 brackets to bolt the fuse box in the wheel wheel.

worked on fixing the new top since arms were broken and bushing were missing. the install on the frame was messed up. took a few hours to get it to work like it should now it folds down and up just great now.
replaced the floating arms with the ones that were in my top frame. also had to redo the elstac straps so it would pull the arm back when the top folds down.

So are you building a talon Spyder? I love those. I also love your Mirage EVO 3 conversion. I've done the drivetrain swap twice now, but never went to the extent of getting OEM panels, and a RHD conversion.

Thanks guys. It is nice to work on it after it has been sitting for so long. It was going to be a huge build back in the day but I sold off the built bottom end that never made it in to the car. Used the cnc head on a diffrent car and traded the tranny for a fmic kit for the evo 3. now that the evo has become a huge rebuild the spyder will just be a fun evo 3 16g car.

Worked on it a bit yesterday.
Got the top all done had to put the push clips in and changed the top motors out with mine. Also got the black rear panels in and the back seat back in it. Just have to find black leather rear seat and black seat belts still.
