Hey Everyone,

I been playing around with my Go Pro Camera I got this past winter. I forgot about it till this past month. Here's a video I made, nothing special, just thought you guys would appreciate it. It was a lot of fun to use. Go Pro FTW.

Cool video, some good shots in there. If you can ever get out to some twisty mountain roads or an autocross/road course, that would be even sweeter. I have an irrational hatred of Chromeo however, don't even know why, just can't stand their music.

yea, I haven't gotten a chance to take it to some windy roads. Locally we have the Watchungs which are a hill mountainous area central NJ. I hope to get up there this weekend and get some footage. NJ is mostly highways

I have been looking at getting one of these cameras. How is the mounting hardware with it? I feel like I'd be staring at the camera just to make sure it doesn't fall off....

To be honest, I was also afraid of the camera flying off. After the first drive and mounting, I realized it was going to stay. You gotta just trust the manufactures that they made it to hold on. I have not had a problem yet with it not sticking, just dont be an idiot and mount it to a surface that is not flat. The mounting case also seconds as a waterproof shell, I really want to use this in the rain, should have used this when New Brunswick flooded.

It used a huge suction cup, about the size of my palm. The case is really firm plastic and metal. Each mounting joint has locking system. Its a well build camera.

The quality is amazing, yea the movie make does degrade the quality of the footage.

the camera was set to 16:9 Full HD Highest Resolution 1080p (1920 x 1080)

What happened to the cf hood?

It still sitting my place, I haven't gotten around to put it on, I need to purchase hood pins, plus I have no where to put the stock hood.

z yea that would be the most simple thing to do but the weight difference is not that friendly to where its being stored. Believe me if I could have this hood on by now I would. Owning a DSM and living in an apartment does not go hand and hand.

Speaking of which, Compression, hows the power steering pump relocation coming a long?

It took me about a day to edit the footage, I was taking breaks in between: meals, smoke, video games.

It was about 2 hours of footage, but a lot of the footage was unusable due to the fact it was just straight highway driving. As suggested above, I take to some mountainous or winding roads.
