Just got the news today from RRE the cylinder #3 is dead in my 7-bolt. So its not worth investing the money to get it fix or go 6 bolt swap because of my chassis is pretty bad in the front end. So i am parting it out now.... Goodbye 1999 GSX. look for my car in classified ads. I hope ill be back one day love you all.. God Bless ;..(

RRE told me that in due time all 7bolts go out one way or another.. Im in the market for anther GSX but with a 6blot this time. Gona do everything right.. and the only reason im not rebuilding this car is my chassis is damage shock tower and front end. Guess it was in an accident before i bought it (clean title) wth? but yeah so they said its not worth all the money to get it right when there are other cars out the in better shape then mine for cheap. I dont plan on leaving just in the market for a new one... This is my most visited site on my computer hehe..

Just rebuild it or replace it with a cheap used engine. Done.

No need for a 6 bolt in your car. Every engine is due to go at some point. Just take care of it.

Just fix it what's wrong with the front end is the car salvage ? Is it rusted ?? It's a California ca I should be fine

Rebuild the engine, tube front clip, grow a pair.

Seriously, saying "the frame is bad so the car is not worth investing in" is no excuse. No dsm is worth investing in. You will never recover what ever money you spend on it except in the rare case of an easy fix and quick resell. You do it for the joy, the pride, and just the enjoyment of working on the car.

Now if you need a daily and this is your only vehicle that is pretty understandable. I've been there, done that, got the tee-shirt. Had to part out my turbo saturn because I needed something that didn't need a ton of new parts thrown at it.

Well gravity keeps my feet on the ground. In due time any engine is gonna fail.

My front end was hit so my shock tower have a huge chunk of metal missing on both side and my frame is bent. But yeah it does have full black leather interior and my drivetrain is available if i take the easy way out. And yes this is my only daily drive i have and im in need of a car.
