Got My New Throttle Body back today

Well i got my Throttle body for the VR4 back today from Steve Monroe over at throttlebodys.com, Got all the bells and whistles that come with the rebulid including a blockoff plate for the FIAV, man that guy is cool as hell man, like seriously i recommend him to anyone that wants to rebuild their throttle body Hopefully this will help get rid of my stupid idle surging issue. anyways here are the pics

Looks nice!! I don't really need to get mine rebuilt, but want to and probably should. Steve at throttlebodies.net has been recommended to me many times.

Looks good! Steve did my TB not to long ago and he was great to deal with, I recommend him as well!

On a side note, did you get it bored out as well? When he built mine and I got it bored out it came back with a stainless plate, yours looks to be the oem plate. Just curious, not that it really matters.

No i didnt have it bored, i just wanted it rebuilt like new, and hopefully this will help with my crazy idle surging.

well when you would first start it up cold it would shoot all the way up to nearly 3600 rpms and then surge, when it would finally warm up it would drop to about 22-2500 then still surge very fast. and sometime it would just die. like if you were to just let it idle for a few mins it would for sure die eventually Lol, so i sent the Throttle body to get rebuilt, and got another ISC, and sent my ECU to get looked at to see if my ISC drivers in it were bad. now everything is installed and just waiting on the ECU to get back, after that i'll have my fingers crossed and start her up and hope my Idle prob goes away. either way im still gonna take her all the way from california to this years DSM shootout

nope, ever since i installed the new throttle body with new ISC, se idles freakin perfect now man ask augustin he's heard it too

Like 150 for everything. Not bad at all man. That included the fiav blockoff plate, all new seals and gaskets and o-rings

yeah man, shit was driving me crazy. not only did it used to surge, but it would just die sometimes and when i would first start it up it would go all the way to like 3900 rpms. it was embarassing.

Mine doesn't die, and only surges after it's warm..So maybe I should get it done..I was thinking about having snowborder do it, but maybe I'll go with this guy..

150 ain't too expensive though man, trust me it's worth it and the turnaround is real quick too.
