This is a stock block putting it into the 9's.

That's bad ass. Congrats to every one that helped him get there. That is very impressive and i agree that makes me want to keep going on mine when you see great things like that happen. Love the look of the car and what he has done with it for mods. That just shows how bad ass these cars can be. Good luck in the future and the guy that took it off u tube needs to get a life.

Who the heck decides what gets taken off youtube, that has happened to me 2x before. They then later removed my account since i was leaving comment saying use streetfire not youtube. Great service youtube has

I will post the link to the "edited" video as soon as it goes up. Mike was battling with the 9's all year, always little things. The car was slipping all over the track and still put a 9.9 down, that means there is more in it.

625 WHP (700ish BHP) on stock rods and pistons is insane.

Was the car ever disassembled and reassembled and used stock parts or is it a motor with however many miles straight from the factory?

I'm sure it was rebuilt probably to get some new rings and ARP hardware, but it's stock rods and pistons.

This was after a month of running 10.0x a dozen times and finally getting it. Thanks Doug E for sacrificing the plate, he had promised it to Mike it he finally got the 9 and was quick to pay up.

Wow, Im glad to see he met his goal! I met him at the Shootout this year and he was telling us how bad he wanted a 9sec pass on the stock block.

Had you of read the post you would have known that I was basing things off what I coul read on the local forum.
