Upgrade Time!!! Anything Else???

I am currently saving up to do a big upgrade when I am on break from school in December.

Having Valve Cover Coated
Possibly Poly Mounts...

I am removing the engine to do this.

The question is, Anything else I should do While the engine is out.
Or anything that would benefit me that I am not thinking of.

Throw on a Gates timing belt, you'll be much happier. Other than that the list looks good.

change the valve stem seals... always a good thing to have new ones

I'll look into the gates belt, and I plan on building the head a little later.

maybe intake manifold and 1g non turbo throttle body. not huge upgrades but I love the NT throttle body since it is 1 piece and only 1 gasket to worry about

I'd pull off the oil pan and check things out. depending on how many miles you have on your bottom end, it may be time for a rebuild.
