Has anyone used the FBI IC3 to deal with scammers?

I'm having major problems with a seller on here, and someone on my local forum recommended using this Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) | Home

If you have any experience with it, let me know please.

I filed a case with them around the beginning of this year. I had bought a car cover off of eBay and the guy wasn't honoring their listed warranty. I talked back and forth with him for a few months and never got what I wanted out of him.

So I found this website by talking to someone and filed a report. Never heard back from them.

Well hopefully it gets resolved in your favor that's just not right some people.Well i broke down & just bought a brand new FP BT-28 ported from SBR but it took over a month to receive but its here so now i just need to put all the parts i have here in my living room on my ride.Well good luck over this other B.S. hope all goes well.
