c,
I know this is going to sound strange, but I've been working on saving this talon for like a year and a half now, i've spent obscene amounts of money on parts just trying to get it running, and now, when i'm almost finished, someone broke into my garage and stole EVERYTHING. I have 2 pairs of pliers and a few screwdrivers left. i know this is going to sounds way out of order but I'm just hoping some folks will be willing to help.

if you can donate a dollar, or a even a few cents, I'm in college now and i really can't afford to buy tools, i'm already living on ramen noodles as it is. or if you have extra tools lying around and you're willing to send them to me, every little bit helps. please guys, help me finish my car.

thanks to anyone and everyone

really just bolting everything together and making adjustments. a set of wrenches would do wonders

I hate a thief. Check the local pawn shops. If your tools are marked and you can prove ownership then you might be able to get some of them back at least.

can't prove ownership, i kept no paperwork for the hand tools, they left all the power tools though, and the two sets of bad ass 6x9's that were sitting on the table. someone literally broke into my garage just to steal my tools.

it must of been one of those V-TAK guys. they didnt want to see you beat them in the 1/4 LOL. sorry for your loss

id donate some money if some douche bag didnt fraudulently charge my debit card for $1,250 for "debris removal". i wont get my money for 90 days. theyll put some provisional deposit in, but if they give up or find it was a legit charge, they take it back. so its not like i can spend that until the dispute is resolved. :(

why cant people just learn to work hard for their OWN money.

they obviously had to have known you had good tools because it seems like they knew what they wanted.

That just f***ing sucks. As stated above, someone you know or that knows you must have done it.

I have been there before, but they broke into my parents house while I was moving and stole my snap-on classic 98 tool box with a s.s. top. it was full of snap-on,mac,mac-co,cornwell tools and all my body and paint tools. was well over 40k into it. lost it all

Must have used a fork lift to pick up the box..My Mac-box weighs God knows how much..

Thats sad, I usually leave my tools on the sidewalk while I do test runs around the block and I havent lost a single piece yet. Someone is definetly hating on you in your neighborhood.

Sometimes I'm tempted to setup an entrapment, gives ya a perfect excuse to beat the s*** outta someone :D

I want to help you out brother. But the problem is that nowadays you never know who is being real or who is scamming.

But if you are in GA around my area. I would be willing to give you some of my really cheap china made tools.
