Sorry for your loss, prayers go out to him and his family. I have a brother in Afganistan right now and worry about him everyday.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know it's not easy but life moves on and you have to keep your head up.

thanks guys its been a crazy night a morning but things are gettin a little better just sucks to see his car parked out front of his house about 4 houses down from mine and know hes never gonna drive it again

it seems like you've been having a rough few months man... losing traction and slamming your car into the curb, taking pics with your buddies evo and then watching him hit a tree to miss a dog, & now this. I hope things for you take a turn for the better and good comes out of all this.
Most would be pissed at military/government if this happened to their bestfriend and its good to see someone take it as a positive because he was doing something most will never do or see.

Prayers go out to you and your friend...

Simple car accidents are NOTHING compared to losing a friend. That makes his other problems look miniscule. Your friend paid the ultimate price, and for that I am sorry. May he rest in peace, may his family be at peace. I'm not a religious guy, but I hope he is in a special place right now. I'm sorry for your loss man.

it all adds up.

He's definitely a hero in my book. I wish the average person knew how much our soldiers do to protect the innocent. By watching the news you'd never know it :notgood:. I pray that everyone realizes his sacrifice and doesn't soon forget it.

Couldn't of said it better. It makes me so sad when I hear about our soldiers getting killed. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.

As a DS in the army I hate to hear about a battle buddie being laid to rest.

My stepbrother is heading to Afgan in December and I think about him each day.

Sorry to hear, I was in afghan' 06-07 and I'm glad I'm not headed there now, I keep up on the news and recently there was the valley attack as well as IED's. I saw 4 died yesterday and that must have been a huge loss, I've been in situations where there were 8 of us and that's it. What the #### do you do when half of you get blown up?

thanks for all the prayers guys he was a good kid im only 20 and he was only 19 but he loved what he did and it was all he lived for he came home for a little last week but couldnt wait to go back we should all be thankful for our military and knwo there the ones that give us freedom in life to do whatever we want but today i went and got a tattoo for him as his best friend i knew it would be what he would want

Sorry to hear that. I leave for the Marine Corp Dec 1st. Next yr I will most likely be going to Afghanistan for 12 months. What brand of service was your friend in? By the way yesterday 10/27/09 was the worst day in Afghanistan for the U.S. loosing 14 American Soldiers.

dang man my buddy was army he was an engineer that searched for the road side bombs and they group in front of his convoy missed one on the way to there base and my friend and 3 others died that day in the same vehicle good luck in the marines man i wish you the best of luck and thank you for serving

It's only going to get worse, especially with the runoff election coming up. Up here in the north, we already start seeing an increase on insurgency.

sorry for your loose my friend. i have a friend since second grade in the marines, he is suppose to be shipped out pretty soon, makes me want to call him now.

Remember there's is always light in the darkest places.

my gratitude and appreciation goes to everybody in the armed forces

Damn. Yeah I chose Combat Engineer

im pretty sure thats what brandon was...and black eclipse call him tell him your thankful for him no #### but you love him and pray for him everyday trust me i got to see brandon 3 days before he passed and those were the last things i said to him and i can sleep at night knowing i said those things and not something stupid you never know when these guys last days will be its a rough war and its only gettin worse in afganistan so if you have the option to say it to a loved one or best friend do it thats my best advice i can give

nice tattoo man...my respects for all the military personell i dont have the balls to join.....

+1 All politics aside, I've got nothing but gratitude and respect for anyone willing to put there life on the line to serve their country, to serve us. I actually thanked a guy for that at a party, he's a friend-of-a-friend.
As a certified (pro-gun-rights) hippie, I can't imagine how people would taunt and spit-at soldiers returning from Vietnam. That's pretty sad and disgusting to take out your personnal (ignorant and uninformed) politics on some poor bastard who was just doing his job to protect you and your freedoms, risked his life every day, and probably watched most of his closest friends die.

So to all you guys and gals in the services: Thanks.

I thought you'd might like to see this since it's your friend, I can send you the article personally if you'd like it? just pm me your address.

#### kandahar. In the neck.

wow I was going to post that in dari... yet it seems like everyone that can translate want's money for it... #### them in the neck too!

If the drug trade in that worthless shithole country were shut down(like we should have done in the first place) there would be no taliban besides those G0Ddamn iraqi's.)

End of story, thanks CIA for funding terrorism.

FYI, i have no religion or beliefs besides the moon is(was) part of the earth, research that and get back to me about your above human beliefs(after you figure out why "god" belivers kill eachother everyday worldwide over ####ing beliefs.)
If you don't believe this, research this shit yourself.
