Well, I didn't mean it. But I deserved it. I didn't pay attention.:ohdamn:

I was pulling out of a parking spot at a friend's apartment. This place had covered parking spots, and I just happened to pull into one. I was backing up and thought I had pulled out far enough, and started turning. Then I heard Creaking and a snap. And the car stopped. WTF I blinked and looked at my front end. I had just kissed the pole with my driver side fender. I pulled forward and looked at what I had done to my baby.

yeah it happens to the best of us. although fortunately ive never dented my car driving it. although its got alot of dents from anger, and other people. not to mention after i put my fender back on i forgot to line it up with the door and what do u know my fender needs to be straightened once again. hope your friend is good with the curves of the fender they are kinda tricky if they have been crinkled like yours did

Yep, It happens.... Two years ago I was going to attempt sliding around a corner in the snow. Needless to say, I didn't give it enough throttle and instead of kicking the ass end out and around the corner the car just plowed and kept on going straight right towards a light pole on the corner of the street. LOL I got it slowed down enough so that it just bumped it though.... ROFL

Another one... (Although, not in my car this time) While in high school and out late one night again in the winter at a bowling alley shooting some pool. My we all go to leave and of course there's no one in the parking lot and there's tons of snow/ice everywhere, we start dicking around pulling J turns and AWD axis turns. What we didn't really factor into the program was that the parking lot is on an incline. We started off at the top and would slide down to the bottom of the parking lot. Well, my buddy got to the end of the parking lot and hit the brakes, on ice he just kept on sliding LOL when he got to the bottom of the parking lot a light pole was waiting for him there also. ROFL Now, remember it's icy and we're on an incline with the front end pinned directly against a light pole and the rear wheels were in a patch that just so happened to be dry :idontknow:. Reverse.... Nope... Turn the steering wheel while reversing.... Nope... Can't slide the back end because it's actually got traction... Three of us end up getting on the front end and push his heavy ass SAAB 900 off of the pole. Two of us fell over because of not being able to get traction to our feet while almost getting run over because it still wanted to slide down the hill.... ROFL

I'd do it all again... :thumb:

Screw that... if you really love her, you'll get her a new fender. Search around enough, and you won't even need to paint it. That fender you have now will NEVER look even half-way decent again. Even if your buddy is an old-school master trained in the ancient and mystical rites of metal-shrinking, you'll still have to repaint the thing. That all adds-up to SO MUCH work. Spend that time finding a matching fender, then pay $50 for it, then bolt it to your car. She'll be good as new.:hellyeah:

Bumper looks saveable, but the fender is trash. It would be cheaper to get a fender.

I know I know. But when we went to the junkyard, we couldn't find a black 1g, much less a 1gb like what I need. As for now, I only need to get it fixed enough to put my marker light back in. Later on when i find a black 1gb driverside fender, i'll swap it out. . . Unless some one knows where I can get one. >.>
