Thought I would share some pictures with everyone! Don't know if anyone has heard of Byron Dragway just outside Rockford Ill, but they put on one of the best shows I have ever been to! This was our sixth year going and this year I finally have a camera worth taking! These are just some of my favorites but there are a lot more in the album!

I wonder if someone forgot to mention to that guy in the Firebird that if you are draging your bumper and it is not a straight flat bumper.....it isn't going to end well for you.

Great pics and thanks for sharing them with us! I am going to a similar venue this weekend at my local track. They have one contest for the highest wheelie and another for the longest. They put up a few grand to the winner and it always amazes me at how many people are willing to trash there ride for the win. I've seen it before and I always end up saying to myself, "It's gonna take more than the prize money to fix that one." It sure makes for a good show though. Thanks again.

Ya the prize money doesn't pay for the repairs, at least on some of the high dollar cars that are out there. I know last years prize purse was just south of 20k. I thought I heard 10k for the most violent (which was the Sunfire) but could be wrong! Makes for a hell of a show thou!
