when i read the comments he said it has around 500lbs of torque
I am wondering how efficiant that is over a holset turbo or any other turbo pushing more boost.
I also would imagine that that thing would be a major pain in the ass.

I said the same thing when I first saw a Subaru engine. It's a very unique design.

It's a flat-4cylinder engine, aka boxer engine. Image what a V4 would look like then, image the V being pushed outwards on both sides until it's layed flat. That's the type of engine the Subaru has. It has 2 spark plugs on each side, the rods/pistons lay completely flat and the crankshaft is in the middle of the engine.
