here are a couple pics of my 95 talon tsi awd
i traded straight up a 1990 talon tsi awd that needed a trans and the motor was pulled and some other work

my plans are to put a 14b that i have laying around on it, a FMIC, Apexi or HKS exhaust, 4 snow tires, eclipse front bumper, 1g BOV, and evo 560 injectors with a fuel pump rewire and tune with a AEM UGE and SAFC II.

Im going to use this as a winter beater and store my spyder. then when spring comes its goodbye talon and hello AWD swap to the spyder and then part out the rest of the talon... first off did i do a good trade and is there anything i can do about first gear? and should i do the drivetrain swap in the spring?

i deff wouldn't do the swap, that looks like a clean car and a heck of a trade. i'd just enjoy the car for what it is... plus never hurts having 2 dsm's far as the tranny it ###### wouldn't hurt to send it out to shep and get it rebuilt specialy if down the road you plan on making some more power.... if your really into doing the swap find a wrecked awd car and don't molest that one!

why waste money on it if you are just gonna part it out?

Send that tranny to Shep/TRE/Jack and pull the driveline out of it. Then when you get the trans back, the the gst to gsx swap on the spyder, and turn that talon shell into a GST and sell it off as a GST or rolling chassis. It has low miles and looks to be in good condition, you can ###### get $1500-2k for it if you polish it up real nice. The sale of the shell will cover the cost of the built tranny.
