stock the car ran 15.4 hope to do 14 next time

any critics are welcome (ignore the surroundings)

You do not need an afc yet. i would suggest a turbo back exhaust with a test pipe. a manual boost controller wouldnt hurt either.

Thats a nice looking car. I too also bought my gs-t bone stock. I wanted a stock car so that I could do all the work myself, also I felt more comfortable owning a car that I new wasn't beaten on. Looks good though. Let us know what you run the next time you go to the track. Im a little curious. I took my car to the track once over the summer with the same mods as you have right now. I ended up running a low 16 but I had a leaking bov. Since then I've replaced my bov but havnt had the time to get back to the track.

since the car is @ 15 psi more boost and it will blow a lot of hot air
i want the AFC because i know the stock AFR is 9.5 @ wot ...
i would get more power leaning it to 11.0 - 11.5 and less fuel consumption

the turbo back would be nice though ...

at least put on a 14b before you get a safc. Stock my car ran a 14.6 and i honestly think with just a 14b added on it woulda ran a high 13.

You are on a good track so far. Especially with changing the timing belt, that is not high on the to do list for a lot of people.

Really clean. I wanted a white DSM but unfortunately couldn't find one so I settled with a black with moomoo color fade.

Getting an SAFC is a good idea. Just don't forget your catback and downpipe. Intercooler pipes and an MBC are also good ideas to put in the car. You should be hitting 14's in no time after those mods! Good luck.

thanks for the comments

here in PR is easier to get an EVO 8 or 9 16G for cheap than a 14B
but fitting that 16G is hard and not bolt on

14B and what else to run 13 sec???

Not to say that you need it now, but with it being fwd i would say that a diff would be helpful. so your puttin all power to the ground. i have a diff in the eclipse i have now and its a big difference then how my talon tsi was without one. also new plugs (stage colder) and wires (8.5mm, maybe)

Very nice car, everything about it is really clean. Who ever you bought the car from took really good care of it and it looks like you have been doing the same. Keep up the good work! :thumb: :dsm:

if you get the afc a wideband guage such as the aem would really help so then you could monitor your afr all the time. it is a fairly cheap mod too.

He has a wideband^^. I know im a 1g and AWD, but take a look at my mods list. I just went to the track and with really crappy tires and a bad launch I ran 13.6@102 with 2.0 60`. This was at 17-18psi and after doing the run found out my valve cover gasket was shot and leaking oil and Im not tuned yet.

Now that Ive fixed the valve cover and some other little things, I know once I get tuned and with a better 60', I can get high 12s.

Oh and very nice and clean 2g!!

Which diff are you using?

Damn that is one clean dsm. I am also in the starting phase of modding my car. I guess you already know, Maintenance FIRST!

I gotta say man...your 2G makes me wanna trade in my 1G...LOLz I am liking the white A LOT. Good luck on the build!

I agree with the 14b upgrade. You need more pump too. Get a walbro 255hp and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. You'll be ready for more than what the stock ecu can give you soon with a 14b. Then look at an safc. You can bump pressure up to 60 psi base and take advantage of the hp part of the walbro 255hp. The 450s will flow 530cc and you will have plenty of pump for it. this will allow you to max out the 14b. Later get the larger 7cm^2 16g turbine housing. They can be had for very cheap. This will allow you to max out the 14b at around 33-34 lb/min, as the compressor has this potential and you will have the same hot side (turbine wheel and turbine housing) as an evo3 16g.

props for the clean engine bay:thumb:

your on the right path for a happy dsm.
proper maintenance>performance mods
