Operation 1ga De-Rice

A while back when I introduced myself to tuners, I posted pics of my 90 GSX that has a ghastly 'go-fast' body kit installed. Not only is the body kit hideous, the bondo work is less than admirable.

Since I'm still about four months out from being able to search junkyards for bumpers myself, I've been searching around for 1ga bumpers, and I FINALLY found some! They should be on the way to my house within the week.

Also a quick question regarding side-skirts: Is there some kind of stock body piece that can replace the 'kitted' skirts, or do I just remove the body kit skirts, clean it up and call it good?

Just thought I'd express my excitement of taking the first step in de-ricing.

Edit: The bumpers are actually the second step, I asked the seller to include the oem fenders to replace the Z3's. Also, the bumpers are off of a 1ga talon, for whatever it's worth.

There are stock side skirts available if you want to find them. Personally I think the 1ga Talon has the best

i'm a big fan of no side skirts and n/t rear bumper....too bad there isn't a decent front bumper to match... I have the part that goes on the door if your interested in em...send me a pm

Hope you didnt spend to much having that bumper shipped. Last time I shipped one it was over $100. I can hook you up with pretty much any stock exterior panel if you need anything else, PM me.

So, the guy I was talking with about getting the bumpers off of his 90 Talon AWD hasn't emailed me in days. I haven't heard anything from him since I inquired as to the payment arrangement. I don't know what happened, we decided on price, then he boned out? He was going to get back with me on shipping costs, but I haven't heard anything since...

yea that body kit has to go, i had a body kit once (got it for free) then realized the outcome and ditched it. now im looking for the stock side skirts (talk about hard to find). decided to go with 2ga front, 2gb rear, and in the process of skirts.
