Who's car inspires you? Alright, I want to know what car is your favorite dsm. I don't car if it is because it's the fastest or if it because it has the sweetest blitz body kit or what ever. I hope this remains completey subjective to different opinions. Also, no evo's or Shep. I say no Shep because he is more of a God than a man, and it is unfair to pit mere mortals against him.

Some people that pop in my head are Evil Eagle, Mario Lopez, 99GSTRACER, Ludachris, DSM-ZERO (let the 420a guys play too) etc. My favorite out of the group is Mario's, love white with all black interior, nice and clean with tons of power, plus AWD spyders are about as good as it gets for 2gs, and I'm not even partial to spyders.

If anyone is motivated enough, pics would make this thread way better, I'm too lazy.

Of course its Shep :thumb:! When I first started looking into buying a sports car, I did not know what I wanted. I had heard of DSMs from some people, but thought they were slow. Saw Shep on Youtube and I was sold! AWD and running 8's how can you not love his car?:thumb:

Grants (Flash), Sheps, and there was this kid when I was in my freshman year of highschool that has a 96 talon awd that was beastly. He got me into them.

Flash car is beautiful. I think I just have a thing for white and black 2gs. Too bad mine is grey.

Well if eclipsetrbo420a had a gsx it could be, but i dout its the same one the car was almost stock when he got it.

That's not eclipsetrbo420a's car btw. I think his username is 97gsxdanny or something like that. One of the cleanest cars on here, especially with those red lips.

It helps that he's got a pretty sweet camera too. He brought it along to one of our meets back on '06. And to top off the good looking car, he's also got a pretty good looking girlfriend in the passenger seat. :D

Some of my favorites that come to mind.... Joe Bucci, Scott Glassbrook, and Brent Rau. I guess I have a 'thing' for innovative race cars... :)

As far as street cars go, I'm having a total brain fart right now. I'll see if I can dig up some picture of cars that I once envied (or still do).

ewwwwwwwwwwww that car is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!!! :thumb::thumb:
and idk, i think anyone that runs a 42r or some other huge turbo on thier car is inspiring..it takes a LOT of time and effort to get to that point/status and its kind of commendable :)

I agree there are just too many to pick just one. Obviously Shep has his place on the top of the list, you can't take anything away from Brent Rau either, or Buschur's old dsms.

Jake Montgomery's car stands out.

Joe Bucci. Amazing times on a 14b and a 16g, plus his weightloss prowess.

Don't know his name, but I think he's on talk more often, but I always thought this was a great looking street car.

Rizzotti's Talon...clean, beautiful, and fast! Not to mention how much power he put through the stock block first.

Switzer's old car...Total innovation under the hood.

Scot Gray's '94 GSX was always an inspiration to me. I remember reading the articile in SCC way back in '00 where they compared FWD/AWD/RWD cars, and his car pretty much kicked major butt. :D

These pics are from 2003, but the car is still in this good of condition as far as I know. Pretty much one of the most well-rounded DSM's ever built. Daily-Driven for many years, 0-60 in under 4 seconds, a Top-Speed of over 180mph, and it can handle and brake with the best of them.

A DSM that really inspires me is a stock DSM. Too many people are into being different, but the stock DSM's are timeless. Style is eternal, fashion is temporary!

Grant's (Flash) car. Amazing machine.

Thank you. :thumb:

2gb STOCK headlights FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You couldn't be more right.

Oh man, amen to that! I couldn't agree more. That was the exact mentality I had when building up my current DSM. :thumb:
