Just thought I would share some pics of my (slow) progress. At least it is starting to look like a complete motor again! Still have a ways to go but getting closer and closer. Enjoy and feel free to comment if you notice anything. I have never rebuilt an entire engine before.

Sooner or later you'll get there!!! Keep up, the good work. That's how I started about half a year ago or so, and now it's almost done.

The difference between the block pictures is incredible. Great Job! Cant wait to see it when it is all done. I agree, I hope you clean up that engine bay.

I paid $300 for the car. And yes, simple green is going to be my friend in cleaning the engine bay. Still need timing components, clutch, flywheel, and other misc. parts. Slow but steady....
