Alright guys so i'm gettin some cash and not sure whether to buy another TEL or fix the sitter i got.

I've got a 1991 TSI AWD in great condition except the engine is siezed. It would be 800 to rebuild it and 1500 to rebuild it with forged internals. Plus engine work...~500

OR

I could buy another TSI AWD that runs, its stock, leather, 5speed, 178k on body, 100k on motor. The body is in pretty decent shape, the leather had to be reupholstered cus its very nice. 1200 bucks, I have two to chose from: One, gold on black leather and the other is Red on Tan leather. I hate red and hate tan but its still a nice car for the price. Mileage is lower on the Red/Tan one.

I've been struggling with this one for a few weeks now...

I dont need a running car as of now, i've already got a dd.

I would have had a Galant VR4 for 1000 bucks but some ####ing hoebag played games on Ebay, bidding at the last 5 seconds . MAN if I see that guy....GRRR....

ANYWAYS, I could have a running car for about 1000 or buy a running car for 1000....help me out here guys!

I would rather just rebuild my own, that way you know it's done and will last. You'd have a car with a rebuilt motor, rather than one with 100k.

rebuild the motor on your talon, dont waste your time with another, chances are youll have to do a lot of matinence to that one after you buy it, timing belt, tensioners, balance shaft belt, change all fluids, check for leaks, fix all leaks, im sure that car isnt perfect, save your money and build your motor.

Well I am getting that car at somewhat of a steal. I thought about buying the gold one, swapping the leather for my cloth and then sell it again....:shhh:
Chances are I could break even....
