Residents become instant millionares

The residents of the city of Boulder, NV is voting on wether or not they want to sell undeveloped property within its city limits, 167 sqaure miles worth in the billions. Boulder is the only city in Nevada that illegalize gambling, so they have no use for it, but other companies do (If the land is sold and Boulder moves it city limits back. The multi-billion dollar sale will be distributed to the 15,000 residents making them instant millionares. According to the bill, portions will go to every man and women within a household and even a trust-fund will be held for residents under the age of 18. However city officials are moving to block the bill. Oh and all you DSMers can't move there, because also according to the bill you must have established residency no later then March 31st, 2006.


I couldn't find a good news link, just heard from a friend who lives out there with his wife and two sons. (That gives him $4,000,000)

Actually legally, the money belongs to his two sound (8 yrs and 12 yrs). He only has $1M, the other one belongs to his wife. He said he will give me $100,000 (for my wife to start her buisness). But I know he is just BSing, due to the exictment. I know I'm not getting a dime.
