Hey everyone

Well my last laser got flooded from all the rain we got down here in hawaii over the past few months. That car is pretty much ruined so i gave it away to the junkyard and in return found another 90 laser rst and i got $200 for the car.

Well heres what I am going to do and hopefully I get some deals done the line.

I will start off with this stock 1990 laser and build it up as a budget everyday street car that by the last race of the season(november) i will be deep into the 12's. The catch here is that I am only going to spend $75 a paycheck on this car. Granted i do have somethings from my old car that are still good like rims, intake pipe, boost controller, boost gauge, and shift light. But thats all i got to start with. On this car the CV shaft outer boots are already ripped so i will be replacing those and doing all the maintenance before i start working on the performance. I will try to update this reguraly so that all the cheap dsm racers will have something to look forward too.

Peace,
:laser: :laser: :laser:

Well today i

Replaced both axles - $80
Changed out the capacitors in the ecu - Free from my last car
changed the oil - $10
changed the filters (oil, fuel, K&N intake) $10 ( k and n was from my last car)

so i cheated and went 25 over for this pay check but we will just keep that a secret

and just incase anyone is wondering ill get a baseline time on may 6th

Just reduct ALL the weight you can.. Every 100lbs is 1/10 of a second quicker in the 1/4 mile supposibly. Take out the a/c, Gut the car, Cut everything out and sheetmetal it like project goodwill, just take everything out. Go on a diet.
