Blower Motor vibration (not what I expected)... [dead mouse]

I wanted to see what was causing my blower motor to vibrate on high speed and install an Amp/Sub set up (also seen here:http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=189841 )

I had to chuckle because I guessed what you had found before I opened this thread. Years ago when I worked for a Toyota dealership this was a very common find. Sometimes not smelling at all, and other times reaking of the best off-all room of any chicken plant on the east coast on a hot summer day (its really sad I can compare that, those guys have to use Nash pumps) Hell, sometimes the customer would be so accustomed to the smell, they didn't even notice, just complained of a noise when the fan was on high speed. Consider yourself lucky!

Very common on the dsm. I'm pretty sure that two of my four dsm's have critters in the squirrel cage right now, I just dont feel like pulling them apart to find dead stuff and have to clean it out. What I dont get is how they are getting in there so often or why they love dsm's so much. WTF

I think ive got a blower critter too. But mine only vibrates on "high" mode!

What i want to know is how do you get to the screw closest to the firewall i really don't wanna pay the dealership to take off one screw and say you had leaves or a rodent in your fan. Can anyone please tell me how they got the screw out and what tool they used thanks.

That is exactly what I am wondering, how on earth have people removed that one screw?! I have tried all ways and tools that I know, but still no go, there just isnt any space..

I just pulled my fan out and had a critter in it also but my fan is only working on high. Does nothing at all on the other 3 settings. It reads 12.31 volts on high and 8.06 on all the other settings. I used a T-20 Torx screwdriver on the back bolt of my 97 Talon Tsi. My question is why does mine only work on High ?

The blower motor resistor is bad!
