Mix And Match Good Idea Bad Idea...

Okay. Heres the deal, I own a full KYB AGX adj. Gas shox kit. kit for a 1g TSi. I have a set of R1 Race coilovers. What i wanted to do was use my AGX (since I already own a set) with Prokit sprins on the back and R1 Coilovers on the front with the AGX.


Front: AGX shox/R1 Coilovers

Rear: AGX shox/Prokit Springs

The reason behind this idea is that I had initialy was going to use the AGX and R1 on my 240sx, but when i realised how much i loved DSM's I was stuck with a 240 i wasnt going to drive and a full suspension...
(Cost Effective)


So im trying to get feedback on if this would be a dumb idea or might work.

Do you have any idea what the spring rates are on the springs you have? AGXs are far too stiff in the back of a 1G, even at their softest setting.

haha good idea bad idea? mabey its a dumb question and i should just get the koni sport and pro kits


I guess the question came from the stingy side of me that didn't want to spend more money
