I really need a new suspension, cause the goober that had the car before me used coilovers with stock shocks and slammed it like 2.5 inches. I want something that will have good ride quality, not be bouncy, and lower it about 1.5-2 inches.

Ok i know everyone will tell me that i should go with koni yellows and h&r springs. i know that is the best way to go also but i do not have the money to fork out for that. So my options have dropped to Tokico Premium Blues and KYB Gr-2. Which of these shocks will be better: Ride quality, Durable, and tolerate a 1-2 inch drop? The spring choices i have are Tein S-tech, Eibach Pro-Kit, and Intrax. which of these is the better springs. or i was thinking about the tokico spring/shock setup.

and if you have a better setup that is not listed then please let me know. i am open to anything. please give me your opinion about each of these setups. i am looking to spend 400 or under for everything. thanks in advance.

well, i think my car already has a camber correction kit on it. because it is lowered, well slammed, really low and there really isnt any terrible noticable camber, so i will figure that out when i put my new suspension on. but i really need new suspension asap, because mine is so rough that i hit my head on the roof during normal driving. it is really really bad. thanks though.

Well if you have coilovers then why don't you just raise the car back up? Most coilovers have a threaded perch that you can turn to raise/lower the ride height. Most likely you're bouncing because you're riding on the bumpstops so try raising the ride height before you buy new shocks....and even if you do that you might need new shocks soon because stock shocks won't last long with upgraded springs.

good luck

Nevermind fellas, i just bought my new suspension. i bought the tokico premium advanced handling kit. i hope i like it.

I put on some tokico HP shocks and some Tein springs, lowere the car 1 inch or so and front camber was still in spec and after 10k no adverse tire wear, i did the DIY camber fix in the back and im happy as a clam, ALOT less body roll, the ride is almost as comfortable as stock but you can FEEL the road.. but not be irritated by it.. its a great setup for under $500
