Retread race tires

Retread race tires.
Since I can't find a decent drag tire for a 16" rim, I was thinking about these retreads. Anyone have any info on them?? I got a link from Turbotrix here, scroll to the bottom of the page.

Bondurant used to run Bandag retreads on his school cars when he was at Sears Point.

Then again, I'd use tires I got for free, too.

I think retreads are a bit sketchy.. if your looking for more traction on the street and a little track get falken azenis.. if you want a dedicated track tire, there are tons of better options out there for the money.
