im thinking about changing my springs and struts. my first choice is the tein kit, but cash may force me to go with choice b. choice b is toxico illumias with sportlines. do i need a camber kit for either set up? im only planning to drop it about 1.8. any other recomendation will help also.

I agree, Tein coilovers are nice but a little pricey. Tokico illuminas are great though, My friend has them on his integra and I love them. You could go for some more affordable KYB AGX shocks which are also just as nice IMO. I got a set for $310 shipped on ebay so I'm sure you can also find a good deal there. Eibach springs are really nice, good choice. Yes you will need a camber kit for either set-up.

where can i buy a camber kit? and if i adjust the ride height myself, do i have to change the camber? or does the camber adjust with the raising or lowering?

Sportlines are too low. They definitely won't work well with either Tokikos or AGXs, since these shocks both have bodies that are longer than stock. So, when they are combined with Sportlines, you have just about no front suspension travel and will ride like a go-kart and understeer like a pig.

Tokiko Illuminas work OK with Prokit springs. Not a great set-up, but lower than stock and alright damping.

But if you want a real suggestion, save up for at least Koni Yellows. Then, when you've saved up some more, get GC coil-overs.

ps. how many times a day do I post this?

well i was pricing things out. illuminas and sportlines are 775. i can get the basic tein kit for 750. is the basic tein kit worth it? or am i better with sportlines and yellows?
