My front passanger tire is damaged, i want to put some good tires up front and some regular one's in the back, or good all the way around.
I have the stock 16 swirlies from my 95 GST, what are the best streetable tires and size for these rims?, i have some tires on and it looks ridiculous regarding the tiny rims/tires paired with the huge fender well gap. I will upgrade my rims later but i need tires now.

Also i want to reduce the gap once i put in 17's in the car what springs are good with the stock gr2 shocks?

Thanks

the widest tire i have seen is 215's on the stock rims. I would get some BF Goodrich G-FORCE 215/50/16. As for lowering it Eibach Prokit lowers the car about 1.4" it looks perfect with 17's:thumb:

Here's a suggestion. Given that you probably won't be happy with lowering springs and stock shocks, why not do an experiment that will cost almost nothing? Why not cut one coil out of the stock springs? This will not only lower the car (obviously), but will slightly increase the rates. In Step Two, you add Konis. Then, if this still isn't working for you, in Step Three you get a coil-over kit.

I switch back to my stock suspension for the winter. I agree that the car doesn't look as good that high. I have, therefore, measured the springs so that I can cut a coil and look a little less jacked up next winter. (I have smaller-than-stock diameter tires.)
