hey how much moeny dou guys think it'd cost to get one of those huge hydraulic cylinders in the back of ur car to higher and lower ur car whenever u want?? how much do u think it'd cost for the whole system? do u think its worth the money?
 
Basically no one on here runs these or knows about them. I've learned quite a bit from a guy named Jon who is Turbo4 on DSMtalk. The kit for our cars is an air cylinder kit rather than hydraulics. It will run you about $1300-1500 brand new with no upgrades and cheaper if you can find someone selling one (RARE!). A great upgrade for a show car but pretty soggy ride for a daily driver. If you plan on doing any kind of cornering, this kit will suck ass for you. The ride is softer than it was on stock shocks and springs regardless of the height you have it set at. Best plan......get some quality coilovers (Ground Control) and adjustable shocks (Koni or Tokico), set your height somewhere reasonable, and drive. Just my opinion on the matter after much research.

Do you want to have the car move up and down on all four corners like show cars or are you looking to raise the back end while racing for more traction in the front? Because if its for performance then 360 dollars, and you can raise and lower two inches on the rear. Otherwise I dont know. Most likely a waste of money.
 
i mean driving the car very very low off the ground and then highering it when a speed bump comes, and when im racing, being able to lower it almost all the way to the ground - im not talkin abot hopping on two wheels!

so any idea how much this height adjustment system would cost, and wheere i could get it
 
its not even worth it the cost around 1250 and the ride is sh*t i just took mine off the car overall they suck but to each is to own if you need any info on them or want the set i have just email me?

ok. other than "hydraulics" which belong on old caddy's w/ 100 spoke knockoff's,there are other ways you can add some spice to your suspension. there are many ways to get the up/down side/side effect. there are air cylinders, airbags and air struts. some are more vehicle specific than others but all of them should meet your needs.

okay i found a site, www.kmwperformance.com, but im sort of confused, i don't know much abut them, do tehy have the air bags that u can contreol with a switch that let u lower your car like 4 inches with the swtiche? oh and how much would it cost to get one of those air suspension kits installed taht they have?
 
i have a set of air cylinders sitting in my garage. they are about 1000 to 1250. the set i have has a 10 switch box that raises lowers the front rear and all four independant wheels. its does three wheel left and right (i have a pic. in my profile of the car in three wheel) and pancake up and down. personally i dont like them thats why i took them off.
 
woah, okay so that its lowered 3 inches, and i press the switch to higher it 3 inches up, how long would it take for the wohle car to move up again? oh and can u use it like every 30 min while ur driving or are u only supposed to use it like maybe once a day, or does it not matter? PLEASE REPLY
 
well it runs off a compressor that fills a tank with air you can get two tanks and two compressors it will give you more play time but with the one i have i played with it all the time. i used to drive down the street in three wheel. its great i was thinking of putting them back on but i like my 8 way adjustable.
 
okay all i want is to be able to lower the car like 4 inches while im driving, and then when i pull into a driveway i can higher it again, which kit should i get? the cheapest one? oh and one morething, what is the difference between manual valves and electronic valves or waht difference does it make when ur lowering/highering the car, why do electronic valves cost more? what is the difference between a manual kit and a fast bag kit?
 
if anyone needs info on air ride for cars email me, i know everything, if you want to raise and lower your car, you need a air cylinder kit, runs about $1000 you want electric valves with a switch box if you get a tank and 2 decent compressors, you can play with your switchs as much as you want. theres a company called F.B.S.S that sells kits for eclipse
 
You don't want Hydros on an Import.I few of my buddies had them their Honda's.Just so they could Dog Leg it..i had them on my 87 Mazda B2000 P/U....They're messy with all the fuild,batteries leaking anss ####...I would get Air Ride instead for a import.
