I have checked the lines, brake fluid level, rotors and pad, but sometimes i have no stopping power. sometimes when im trying to slow down they just dont seem like the want to stop the car. other times they work fine..any suggestion. thanks in advance.

You might be Getting brake fade. This happens when you use your brakes more often and the fluid gets hot, and the pads get hot and start to get "glazed". If you think this sounds right , you might try some vented rotors, or better brake pads..ie-more exspensive ones, or both It can't hurt.

;)

Yeah that sounds like your brake rotors are glazed. This is a product of too much heat in the rotor. A simple and effective brake upgrade would be to buy some slotted rotors with some good pads, with some Motul 600 brake fluid (awesome stuff), and you will be set. You can get all of this stuff for less than 300 bucks.
