GSX Calipers

I have a 97 GSX, I took the front calipers off to change the pads. When I went to put the bolts back in I noticed that on the end of one of the bolts there is a (Thechnical term) little spinny thing. Both bolts were covered in grease when I took them out and I didn't notice it at the time. Can anyone help me out, does the bolt go on the bottem or the top? Or doesn't it matter, I assume it does matter of else it wouldn't be there. I currently have it on the top. I could have just checked the other side, but my friend was doing the other side at the same time as me.

The long bolts that stop being threaded go to hold the caliper in. It doesn't matter which of the two holes for the caliper to rotate on.

The short bolts are for the caliper bracket.

i think hes talking about the bolts that hold the actual mounting bracket on, no the difference between the ones that hold the bracket and the ones that hold actaul caliper.
theres is a letter on the end of each screw. i think there will be a G and an L(put 95 calipers on a week ago so this is from memory, the letters my be different) there is also those same letters on the caliper.
line up the letters and voila.
if that doesn't help, i'm pretty sure the one with the black spinny thing is for the top and the one without it is for the bottom

no prob.......just and just make sure that you line up the letters.....not sure if it makes a difference, but i'm sure that mitsu put them there for a reason......
