I was wondering who makes the best coilovers for a 2g AWD ? Here are the ones I have found.
B&G $999.00
Progress $1125.00
Intrax ARS $1425.00
I know the Progress and Intrax and rebuildable which is a must, but I don't know if the B&G's are rebuildable. I've seen some other brands but I don't know if they fit an AWD (JIC)?

Really the only thing different for the AWD are the spring rates. The B+G set up is awesome from what I hear. However I would HIGHLY recommend TIEN as well. They are also rebuildable, it seems that is something that you are interested in.

Interesting factoid: 99% of the people looking for 'a true coilover system' will never use it to its potential.
Another interesting factoid: Most 'name brand true coilover kits' get sold to be run on the street, which is a huge overkill.

Suspensions are not just plug and play. They require just as much, if not more, tuning and tweaking than engine tuning. No I am not high on crack. Yes I am serious.

Yes I realize they are not plug and play. I rebuild a least 50 shocks every year. That includes changing the valving of the shocks to get them handling the way they want them too.

Then buy a set of Penske's, build them to the valving you like, find some perches and an upper pillow ball mount and go with whatever spring rate you want to run to setup the car. Especially if you already know how to rebuild your shocks, that's 75% of the game.

I did not know that Penske made shock that will fit our cars. Do you know where I might be able to buy a set.

They don't actually but Penske components are used as the basis for a lot of name brand shocks. More or less, you can build a shock for any care with Penske stuff.
