Hattiesburg,
Ok guys, I've used the search and I can't find an answer to this question. It's been asked before I'm sure, but I haven't seen it answered. I lowered my car with an Eibach ProKit and the drop turned out uneven. The rear driver's side is between 1/4" -1/2" lower than the rest of the car, and the tire is suffering from rubbin on that inside lip. I do have an Ingalls camber kit on the rear and I've had to set the camber in just to help a little with the rubbing. I know that this is a little common in our cars. I'm still runnin the factory shocks and struts and none of them are blown. If I went with a set of .....say 5-way adjustable shocks, could I work with em enough to make a NOTICEABLE difference in the ride heigth? Or am I just stuck (other than rollin the lip in)? Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I really don't wanna have to replace tires this soon. THANKS.

Dave

Adjustable struts do not adjust the height of the car, only how hard/soft the car feels when on the road. The only way that the struts would raise the car is if the springs sat differently on the adjustable then they do on the stock struts.

The wider/bigger springs are up front, skinnier more compact springs in the back. Is this uneveness noticable? Does it only happen when you accelerate? Shocks will stiffen up the ride if you squat badly in the rear.

Without coilovers you will have to deal with slight uneveness in ride height with just springs. This is because the corner weights are all different. Also, the springs will settle over time, and not in the exact same way quite often.

nope, car's never been wrecked.......and my mom says I'm "big boned" not fat. Just kidding, I'm only about 180 pounds. What about the question I asked in one of my previous posts...are all 4 springs exactly the same, or are there certain springs that go in the front and rear? I thought about just buyin some Ground Controls and fixing the problem that way, but I've heard that they ride like a$$ unless they're all the way down. Any feedback on that?

sorry Dieselboy, didn't answer any of your questions..........all 4 springs looked identical out of the box.........yes, the uneveness is very noticeable........tires rub 1. on potholes 2. sharp turns 3. dips in the road that make weight shift to that side........they don't rub during acceleration

I totally forgot to mention earlier that the rear shocks WERE replaced before I bought the car. I belive they are Monroe Sensotrac, about 6 months old.
