Cheap good looking rims

I want some lightweight wheels that are either 5 spoke, or 6 spoke. I was just wondering if there are any rims out there that I can get for a low price,,,,not super low, just some ideas of rims under a 800 or so, because i am on a pretty tight budget being in school and football starting on monday. So if anyone knows of fairly low priced rims that look good on 1gs, I would like to know what they are.

i just bought some rota battles

17" gunmetal alloy, weigh 16 pounds a piece

totally agree with Slipstreams, you can find those for like $500 and they weigh next to nothing.

I picked up a set of Gun Metal Slipstreams for my drag tires. They look great on the car but there was a sticker on the rims that said "not for daily driving".

anyone have pics of the slipstreams on a 1g other than on shepards car with those huge slicks. i want to see what they look like on a normal tire setup.

A guy on the 'other' board has 16" GunMetal Slipstreams on his 99 GSX, I believe he goes by 99mmcgsx or mmc99gsx there. Search for him, he has plenty of pics of em.

WHY are they not intended for daily driving? are they poorly made? I wan't a cheap pair of wheel that aren't to loud, in a 16's. I want these but I would be using them everyday.
