Is Goldline that off brand Procar Parts sells?
If so I would reccomend getting a respected name like Eibach or H&R springs.
If you are dropping your car 2 inches you will need KYB AGX, Koni or GAB shocks.
Shocktec, if they are still in business, makes shortened struts for many cars. Not sure about the 1G DSM though.

I was looking for something more specific. Some after markets do not performa as they should at the far of a drop.. but a limited travel shock would be cool

Tokico does not make shocks for the 1G.
The only available bolt on shocks I know of are: GAB HP, KYB GR2, KYB AGX and Koni yellows.

-KYB AGX :thumb: on DDS coil over, on stock size tire, front wheel gap is 2 fingers, rear wheel gap is 3 fingers, I forgot how much I had dropped.

Is it safe to assume you meant a DSS coilover?

i have a fwd, but i do have the goldline springs. just to let everyone know, they are not an off brand(lifetime no sag guarantee), and they ride very well considering it is a 2" drop. i have kyb agx in the front and the non adjustables in the rear because i couldnt find anything else.

:thumb: cool i think i am gonna go through with the purchase...now who to buy from

are you going for looks and performance? or just looks? i wouldn't recommend getting the goldline because they tend to sag after a few months. I don't know if you want that on your ride. Shocks whise, i would go with koni adj. shortend 1" from Road Race or KYB GR-2 shocks. it's good if you got adjustables if you do alot of road racing and such. other than that...if you're rolling on a 2" drop with adjustables..they might blow out quicker and will cost more to replace where as GR-2's are pretty cheap cause they are like stock.

i am going for more of performance, goldlines sag? they have a lifetime gaurantee against that?

only complaints i have heard is that they are real low and stiff but that is what i want

ive had my setup almost a year now(7,000 miles) and there has been no sag at all. they are a bit rough, but the look is worth it.
