Rear Brake Cooling

This past weekend I ran a hill climb in PA. After 4 runs of 2.1 miles of hard corners and 120-to-25 braking my rear brake pads are TOAST. I have run hoses and fabricated dust covers with ducts for the front but my rears are solid rotors. I am looking to install a NACA duct for my helmet and I am considering getting a 2 port so I can run a hose to the rears.

Does anyone know if there is any way to swap out the solid rear rotors for ventilated ones. Do I have to change calipers or just the mounts? Also, is there any way to get a hose to the inside opening of the fins?

I went through this after I totalled my 95 Talon awd and bought a 99 GSX. I took the calipers and rotors off the old and mounted them on the new car to replace the solid rotors and smaller calipers. To do this, you need the calipers, caliper brackets, and rotors. It's just a bolt-on from there. As for a hose... first I have no idea where you'd run the inlet of the host unless you plan on chopping the body, and second I'm pretty sure you'd need to do the same thing you did for your fronts as far as building ducts into the dust covers.

Btw, I'd love to see pictures of your front ducts I'm more of a road course guy and have tossed around the idea for a while but haven't gotten to it yet. Also, where is this hill climb so I can go!??! I live in Northern VA and would love the chance to do a hill climb
