Generally, when you lower your car 1.5-2", do you need both camber kits?

I've not seen a question like this asked so I thought I would ask it. I have a 2nd Gen FWD.

apparently u didnt search hard enough, but thats alright. i dropped my car with the eibach pro kit. thats pretty closed to 1.5 inches. no problems with camber. from what ive heard any lower then that and u will need a camber kit.

looks like i shouldnt have opened my mouth as my camber is now f*cked up. what kind of camber kit should i buy for prokits? the inside of my tire is down to the lineing on the front passenger side, and im hoping i can save it, and the rest of my tires.

Check your toe.

No, put your damned shoe back on; I was talking about the front end of your car.

Jeeesh.

well its quite apparent my toe is messed up because i have great treadlife left, except for a thin line that goes around the inside of my tire. plus im tired of hitting a pot hole and it gettin thrown off again. any suggestions on a camber kit and will i need one for both front and rear?

Is the camber very noticable or what? You may just need a good alignment to correct the toe. I have quite a bit of negative camber in the rear, and it's been this way over a year, with no uneven tire wear. My fronts were a different story, I went with Ingalls kits.

its noticeable in a sense that i can see all the insides of my tires are worn alot more then the rest of the tire. i think im going to purchase ingalls for the front, and do a home depot job on the rear. the question is, which ingalls kit to but? im dropped on a prokit which is a lil over an inch. thanks,
chris

I think the lesser-range-of-adjustment kit is up to 1.5 degrees, that should be fine. Don't pay more than $130 for the pair either, I got my 3 degree kits for that much locally.

"Most tire wear problems are caused by not having an alignment performed after changing the height of the car. As the tie rods travel through an arc with any height change, the toe in of the tires change. This must always be re-adjusted with any height change. Most guys see the camber being negative and think that is the major cause of the excess wear on the inside tires. It is actually caused by the tires toeing out when the car is lowered. This will clean the tread off the inside of the tire faster than anything."

thanks for all the info guys. what i found out was both my tie rods were shot, and needed replacing. so im not going to get a camber kit, but rather get everything back with in spec and see how that goes.
