My car is a 91 AWD with abs. I have a chance to obtain a 2G 95 AWD non-abs 2 piston brake setup. Has anyone done this conversion?
My specific questions are:
1) 2G uses 1 piece banjo bolt brake hose from the fender well hard line to the caliper. Where 1G uses 2 pieces threaded lines, 1 from the fender well hard line to the strut and another 1 from the strut to the caliper. Can I use a 2G banjo bolt brake hose to connect from the fender well hard line to the caliper?
Will the thread at the hard line side be the same?
Will the 2G line be long enough for the full steering and suspension movement?
2) Will the 2G OEM non-abs disc fit on the 1G abs hub?
Will the clearance between the disc cap ID clear the 1G abs speed sensor and the teeth wheel?
My abs still works and I want to retain it as much as possible. Appreciate all experienced comment.
Thanks
