I just bought some R1 coilovers off of ebay, some people say there good some say there bad, well i'm having mine put on mon. with a 1.5 inch drop and i think they are putting on a camber kit too. I was just wondering if anyone else had some of these coilovers and how they like them?????

i have some. uh... no problems mechanically, i'd say they need some eibach springs put on there, then they would ride a little better, because the spring rate on the r1 springs is really low, get some like 450s or something before you put them in.

ok, what are 450's??? Shocks?? anyways they are going on tomw(mon). i don;t really mind a rough ride cuz thats how it rides right now, thanks to the previous owner putting clamps on the stock spring. ya not smart.

I did it, i finally got my R1 coilovers on they put a camber kit on too, they probably arn't the best setup cuz it rides rough and also has a little clumping noise but its cool.

Wish I had a digital camera to shoot picks of my old r1 coil-overs. Dude they suck and thats the bottom line. They rate with the same APC junk people put on there rides.
They just bounce and give you a bad ride, trust me .. After I got the H&R race springs and tok 5ways, no more bounce and its a solid ride:thumb:
