After a recent trip to the local Mitsu dealer for my ball joint recall they noticed my tires were pretty messed up. I took a look at them and would agree. This kinda peeved me, since Ive only put maybe 10k on this car since I got it. I would assume these tires werent new when I got it, or the RS-A's really stink. Anyway enough rambling, I need new tires. Im looking for All season use with the stock 16 wheel. Ive been over at tire rack looking around. I saw the post below about the Dunlops and had been looking at those, but I also read some good things about the Potenza RE950's. Has anyone had any experience with either of these 2 tires good or bad?

I do not have any actual experience with the Potenza's, but I can say that I was seriously looking at purchaseing them untill I found the Dunlop Sport A2's. The cost for the Dunlops is less than the Bridgestones, and they have a higher overall rateing accourding to tirerack.com....Not by much, but my biggest criteria was compareing each tire's snow traction Vs. its preformance. I obviously want high preformance tires, but I also want to get around in the winter...

As the saying goes...."just my 2 cents.."

the Potenza tire has better steering response and dry grip but, the Dunlop is better in the bad weather (rain and now)

potenza S03's??? they're great!!! i have them on my car and they handle great on corners without squeaking. and they're lasting for pretty long time esp. with the way i drive everyday... hehe

i had Bridgestone Potenza RE900 on the front and Firestone Firehawk GTS's on the back and i never had a problem in ne condition (induced drifts in snow were fun though).

I have the poteza Re730's and i love them!! great tire and stick very well to the road in wet and dry. Brother has them on his 93 300zxTT and he puts out 360rwhp and cant break them loose from a 1st grear punch. and he recomend them to me and he got them recomend to him from the 300zx guys. so From all the people i know that like them... and iv heard nothing bad about them I would go for the bridgestones..
