When I am removing the lower mount off of the front I know to take out the 2 bolts. My question is the other nut that is on there (I think it is the link for the stabilizer bar) won't come off. When I try to take the nut off it just turns. Can I pinch the link with a pair of vice grips to hold the link from spinning. I know this might not make any sence I am just hoping that some one else has had the same problem.

you either need to use a allen wrench that will insert into the endlink bolt and hold it from turning or the endlink might have a 14mm head that will let you use a 14 mm wrench to hold it in place while you loosen the nut. dont worry i had the same problem, i ended up buying new ones that had the 14mm bolt head on it

even with it having 14mm head on it it still strips out... I have a bad feeling Im gonna have to go to satan and order another one ...only way I could get it out was with a power grinder :)

I tried to get it out again using an allen and a wrench and there was no way it was going to come out. Does any one know how much the new link assembly would be if I had to destroy them to get them off. Both sides will not come off. This is the second weekend and almost an entire can of WD-40 later and I still can not get the thing off. I am thinking that it would still be cheaper to get them off and just buy the new ones then it would to have someone else install them.

Yeah I looked under the little boot it is just smooth. I thought that there might be something for the wrench to grab onto but there was nothing there. The only way to get these off is to put an allen wrench into the end of the bolt and try to hold onto the allen while trying to crack the nut loose with a wrench. When I call the dealer I am going to try and order the links with the nut on the inside of the boot instead of the allen bolt.

If your talking about the sway bar, just unbolt the mounts on both sides of the car (2 bolts on each). I just did this tonite and found that worked just fine, meaning you have enough room to get the shock out.
