Tein Springs?!?!?!?

Whats the deal with these tein springs, just curious if anyone had them and how they liked em. Im debating between them and some Eibachs.

Basically Tein's blow away any common lowering spring/strut combo.
Jsut search on here for it, there is plenty of info already posted.

I havent heard much about the tein springs (not coilovers) by themselves. The coilovers are great but I dont know how much info you'll get about just the springs they offer.

i had tein s tech springs before on my car

they are really good, nice soft stock like ride and great material

only negative i see is that it doesnt lower enough to reduce the fender gap.

if you want some more info let me know cuz i got some friends here in so cal.

How much did you spend on them, where, and how much of a drop did they do? J/W as I'm not the one to go the common route of eibach or gc; thanks.

Tein are significanly Lighter than Eibach and most of spring in the market due to more advance material.

It seems that there is only one kit for all 2Gs (GS/GST/GSX). Does that make sense? I've seen 2 different Eibach Pro-kits, one set for the FWD and one for the AWD.
On the Tein site, part #SKR56-AUB00 is listed as the 2WD version. There is no AWD version listed there.

So does anyone know whether AWD and FWD can/should use the same springs?

The GSX springs are different than the FWD springs. The AWD needs a different spring rate in the back, but the front springs would be the same for the both of them.

I would check to see if they make the rear springs for a GSX, although I searched and saw that they only had springs with rates for FWD'ers though. If you find any for a 2G GSX, let me know

I got the response from Tein. I was hoping they were going to say that they are working on an AWD spring set. Does anyone know what the differences between the Eibach FWD and AWD springs are?

The fact that Tein is not taking the weight differences between the FWD and AWD kinda worries me.

Here is their response:

In regards to your question. The S Tech lowering springs would fit all
models of the same year of the Eclipse. The chassis is the same but the
drivetrain is different. And the chassis code helps defines the size
motor
of the same year vehicle.
