1G lowering

I have been considering lowering my car for some time. I have looked into it, and decided Eibach Sportline and KYB gr-2 shocks/ struts are fesiable. I am not looking for a really aggressive drop, more for performance and ride really. Do you guys know anything about either of these products or have experience with them??? Let me know..

I am hoping they are good, I have done research and they seem to be a good quality drop and provide responsive/ stiff handling.

ok so i just bought some coil overs, how much can you lower a 1g with out it rubbing. i have 16 in rims but i don't know the tire size.

With coil overs you can just guess and check. Watch out for Camber adjustments though. Did you get sleeves or a coil over kit?

i got a coil over kit and i thought i could just put them on my stock struts and stuff. i am thinkin i wanna drop it 2 in.

how many miles are on your car? I only have about 99,000 on mine but am replacing the entire thing. I will help stiffen everything up too, so it might not be as bouncy.

i have 127,000 miles, kinda alot.

Wow, You will definetly want to replace the stock suspension then as well. If you don't, it may last a few months, but they would definetly blow out from the lowering, escpecially if you are dropping it that low. And when it comes to shocks/struts don't go cheap. Get a good set and it will make the difference, if you got KYB AGX adjustables and your R1 wouldn't be a bad set-up...

You will have to add 3/4 to your rear stabilizer bar in order for your tires not to rub.

whhhatttt, i don't wanna get new shocks and struts. do u reallly think they will go bad if i lower it 2 in. or will it just ride really bad???

they will most likely blow with that much stress on them and being so old.
