I have a 99 Eclipse N/T. I just installed Tokico Illuminas and Onsoku lowering springs. The rear passenger side fender hits the tire if I hit ANY bumps or dips. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I put the stock ones back on the rear, but it sits too high. I'd like to get the lowering springs back on WITHOUT hitting my brand new Yokahama Avid H4's.

I have the same problem. First I put the wrong size tires on my wheels when I got them. Second the springs are to soft IMO. My solution to solve the problem is to get firmer springs(hopefully coil overs) and put on the correct size tires once these wear out.

Well there are a few things to factor in here.

1. Did you cut your bumpstop to proper length, you may wanna cut a little less off.

2. You have the illuiminas right? They are adjustable right? set the setting a little more firm in the rear.

3. If all else fails, rool the inner fender with a baseball bat rather than cutting or trimming and opening a corrosion prone area up.

I would not suggest giving a little more negative camber. Lowered cars already have to much that dictates correction. You may as well rub the tire with the fender then run to much negative camber, it will have the same effects only on the opposite side.

hope this helps
