Yeah well that was fun... $6.25 in materials.

I basicaly made little angles out of 3/8" steal and then welded tube stock to each of them, and then one pice that ties the two tubes together at the center.

what should i expect from this mod. also is there a chance that over time the brace will bend and cease to function. thanks
 
strut bars really dont do much for dsms. u might get a little bit of chassis stiffness but all in all, they just look pretty. sway bars will have the best effect on the car.
 
yeah thats what i have been hearing, i deffintly will get some roll bars, but every little bit counts, you wonder why the new 350 z has a HUGE rear strut member...

Actually, the bar itself isn't very big, its the shroud that takes up so much room.:thumb:

um... CAUSE they reduce body roll like nothing else, i mean less body roll, more overstear, deeper you can go into the turn... it is like AWSOME for handaling...
 
All in all, all types of suspension bars will help handling in one form or another. Upper strut bars help upper body flex, sway bars and lower tie bars help the most in that case.
 
do any of you read import racer? they have two integras with 4 bars, column bar, strut bar, trunk bar, and floor bar... all in the rear of the car, suposedly it helps
