I know nothing about Camber Kits

Last night me and my buddies put on my Eibach Pro Kit springs, and was told I need a camber kit asap. I have a general idea of what its for, but I need to know what kind to get, a good place to get em, what ones right for my car, price, all that stuff.

You guys know what your talking about, so any info is appreciated.

My Car is a 1996 RS (FWD obviously) Stock Wheels (for now) I also wanna get a stupid question out of they way...

Should I get a camber kit now, or will I need a different one if I get 17'' or 18'' rims? Should I wait, or is it a must to corect the camber ASAP? How long is "ok" to wait? I have the money, I just dont want to research the simple info you guys probably allready know.

You can wait as long as you want, but you're gonna eat through some tires w/bad camber. I'd get it ASAP. Try RRE, MachV, and Extreme for kits.

Do you have any links? Is there a certain brand, or type you guys can recomend? Am I going to be spending $200 for a good kit, or is Sprint good enough?

I was told toe is what kills tires faster than anything. When i was getting my alignment done they said its good to have your camber off a little since your car handles better. Nothing outragoulsy off but a little

Went to Les Schwab today and a camber kit, plus installation is $490! Daaaaaaaaaamn that's a lot of money. I can find a kit for $200 but is installation a bi***?

Yeah dude.... NEVER go to les schwab for their camber kits. They rip you off like nothing else. They said the same thing to me. Get an aligment done first off!!! toe will chew the hell outa your tires, way way way more than camber will. But anyways, get the alignment just checked at first. don't have them adjust it unless its in spec. Have them print you out a readout of where your alignment is at and what it needs to be to be in spec. Then see how far out it is. More than likely with the prokit your rear will only be out. Just do the 2g 15 dollar camber kit for the rear, but if the front is out go on ebay and find a good deal on a front camber kit, put it on, then take it back in to the alignment shop and have them do the alignment. If you need both front and rear camber kits with the alignment you shouldn't pay more than 150 if you do the install yourself. But with the prokit you shouldn't need a front camber kit. but at least get an alignment done so they can fix your toe or else your tires will be gone in a couple months. Sorry about the novel, hope this makes sense

camber? ....
fix your toe after dropping the car. however a degree of negative camber as ryan stated does help handling. i've had bad camber for 6 months on my stock 16s and theres no noticable camber damage to the tires. the tread wear rating on my tires is 320 for reference.
