Worn Tie Rod ends

I was checking my DSM CD and didnt see too much refrence to it and ive done a search.

Curious about who has changed their own tie rod ends is this a project that can be accomplished in the garage fairly simply?

I know the parts are pretty cheap but labor rate seems to be fairly expensive from what ive seen.

it's really simple dude. mines were stripped so i had to replace them. 19$ at shucks. all you have to do is unscrew the nut holding it down, then use a tie rod puller to break it loose from the post it is sitting on. and then just unscrew the tie rod off the power steering rack. you'll need an adjustable wrench and another size wrench to break it loose. it is on pretty tight. good luck.
