what size tires???

ok im getting konig tantrums in 17x7 40 offset and i dont know what size tires to get, either 215/40/17 , 225/40/17 or whatever else, i want my wheels to look as low pro as possilbe but not too much that will bend my rim if i hit a pothole. so what size is best? thanks.

225s > 215s

Always get 225s over 215s. They're like 3 bucks more and will give you better grip. Also, I would look into 45 series tires because with 40s your speedo may be off a couple MPH.

well not really with 45 over 40, 40 wll throw it off like 1 mph if that..

Whatever you want to do, the 40s will probably look better and will def handle better, so whatever.

I run 45s on my 17s. 225/45/17 to be exact
Ill never run 40s on 17s, your speedo will be off a few. an if u have have stock suspension, ull have a huge wheel gap

well i am going to lower my car within the next monh as well, so it would only be driving like that for a little bit, do you have any pics of your rims/tires?

this 225/45/17 on stock suspension
I can fit 4 fingers between there, which is a about a 2.6"-2.7" of wheel gap. so that can gives you an idea on how much lowering you may need with 40s
