i think that i might have a blown strut but im not sure. my front left side squeaks inside the wheel well when i press down on that side and there is a sigle knock when i cut the wheel whether im driving or just sitting there. all suspension is stock for the moment other than strut bars that were installed correctly.. and possible insight would be great:cry:
 
Well blown shocks don't usually squeak. That might be your wheel bearing. My shocks that were blown make clicking sounds when I hit bumps or something. I wouldn't buy shocks until you've figured out that's what it is. Can you see oil around the shock body?
