Is it essential to have the bump stop on your struts? Does anyone know where i can get some for koni yellows? Of has a shop nearby they can get them from and mail them to me? I will pay of course

I just cut about 3/4" of an inch off my stock bumpstops and put them back on the koni's.

I read up in it, and found that unless the manufacturer of the shock/spring recommends it, then you don't need to. I have Tokico non-adjustables and Eibach Pro-Kit springs, and I didn't cut the bump stops at all. I won't do it until I start to hear/feel something wrong with the suspension, but I also think it has a lot to do with the shape of your local roads that you will be driving on. If you aren't going to slam into any potholes any time soon, it doesn't seem like a problem to me.
